Within 24 hours of orthopedic surgery, you usually begin your rehabilitation program.  Dr. Pontius will work with you to determine the best rehabilitation plan for your situation.  This may include a rehabilitation center stay, or you may be treated in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.  Either way, Dr. Pontius will remain in communication with your physical therapist to ensure that you are progressing well after surgery.  You will schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Pontius after surgery to also monitor your progress.
